There are two ways to use poppers / room aromas but only one of them is the right way to use them.

How to use Poppers Safely.

Poppers are known as room aromas or room odouriser’s for a reason, and that is because the most common and safest way to use Poppers is to open your freshly delivered bottle and set it on the side allowing the aroma to emanate through the room. You can even use more than bottle to make the aroma even more intense.

It is absolutely fine to inhale Poppers, but DO NOT inhale directly from the bottle, we recommend our room odouriser’s be used in a well ventilated room that is more than 5m x 5m. If you or anyone else in the room experiences dizziness or headaches the replace the cap on the bottle and allow the room to ventilate.

Typically Poppers will last a couple of months from the 1st time you open the bottle, ideally to make them last as long as possible you should keep you Poppers away from direct sunlight and if possible also keep them refrigerated.

The absolute best way to keep your poppers fresh is to pop them in the fridge or any other cool dark place.

Poppers work as a dilatory lowering the blood pressure hence the head rush that comes with them, be aware that mixing Poppers with other substances that also lower the blood pressure including Viagra and Alcohol and be dangerous.

Whilst Poppers were originally and still are associated with gay men because of their muscle relaxing effect on the sphincter muscles making penetrative anal sex easier they are not just for gay men, and were a regular feature of the club scene in the 80’s and 90’s.

There are other poppers recipes are available in Europe and in the USA which are banned in the UK watch out for the following:

  •  Double Scorpio (Isobutyl) Poppers, these have many side effect and are a carcinogen, and are therefore banned in Europe.
